What people are saying about their experience

Denis O’Donnell
Great little cafe with wonderfully friendly staff. The food was perfectly cooked and homely, the price of the breakfast and lunches was very reasonable compared to a lot of places today and well worth the money. Celia in particular looked after us very well. There are toilet facilities for all and the museum and shop is well worth the visit. Bring some cash as their machine cannot take tips and I would bet you will be tipping.

The biggest Welcome awaits you in Solas, friendly staff, great local knowledge and information, coffee shop serving the best homecooked breakfast, Sandwhiches, pastries and not mention coffees! A big thank to Marie, Amanda and Debbie who looked after us so well this morning, wish you all the best and we can't wait to come back

We dropped in for lunch and ended up going to the exhibition centre as well. We spend an hour going through the exhibition which shows the history of the area. We finished in the restaurant which has a good selection to choose from and the service was quick.

Beautiful new community center with brilliant Interpretive Center presenting all sorts of social/cultural information about the locality in a very modern way. Very well designed audio visual resources. You could spend many hours here, or move through quickly .. as your schedule allows. Top this off with a visit to their lovely cafe and sample all sorts of tasty homemade treats.

Absolutely outstanding exhibition. If you want to learn more about Erris and its history this is the place. Only one suggestion it needs a seating area for some of the long visual displays. Overall well done!
